Mission Statement
As Shea Summers, a dedicated student enrolled in the CIBACS program at Edison High School, I am driven by a passion for growth and excellence. Born to Shelly and Tj Summers, and surrounded by the support of my siblings Riley and Tanner, I embody a vibrant spirit and an unwavering commitment to my pursuits. Engaged in Rugby, Football, and Track and Field, I thrive on the thrill of competition and the camaraderie of team sports. Beyond athletics, my heart is warmed by the bonds of friendship and the companionship of my beloved golden retriever, Charlie. My character is defined by a relentless determination to overcome challenges, a resilient persistence in the face of adversity, and an unyielding dedication to personal integrity and excellence. As I navigate the journey of self-discovery and achievement, I aspire to inspire others through my actions and to leave a lasting legacy of positivity and impact in all that I do.
What is FasTrak?
For this year's project, I've been tasked with shadowing a local business mentor to gain firsthand exposure to the workspace and insight into the realities of the career. Over the course of more than ten hours spent interning with my mentor, I've acquired a deeper understanding of their role than I had before. Additionally, I've prepared a presentation showcasing my newfound knowledge in this field, which is available on the product page.
For my internship I worked with Doug Raetz. Doug owns a financial firm that specializes in working with athletes and entertainers. Throughout the internship I was able to experience what his daily and work life entailed. He helped grow my knowledge on both the industry and also the job itself.
